Running operations manually

Operations pages and the Run popup

Every page under Operations (Orders, Products, Suppliers, ASNs / GRNs, Returns, Inventory Syncs) has header buttons - visible to Ops and above - that open the Run a 3PL Operation popup:

  • Operation - a dropdown of all operations, pre-selected to the page's own (you can switch without leaving the popup).
  • 3PL Instance - only instances whose provider supports the chosen operation are offered (this is why a Sprint instance is never offered for Push Pending Suppliers). If exactly one instance qualifies it is pre-selected.
  • Orders only - Scope: All eligible orders or Specific orders, where the picker offers only eligible, unsent orders of that instance - send one order, a handful, or everything.

Pressing Run takes you straight to the job: a "Triggered: …" view of the Sync Log entries this run produced, so you immediately see what was started and how it went. Work that executes inline shows its outcome at once; queued work (like a background product push) appears as a blue Queued card - press the view's Refresh button to watch it flip to Done as the queue drains. The dashboard's Perform Operation menu behaves the same way, and the instance chatter records who ran what.
