With Receive GRNs on, announced ASNs are polled for the warehouse's received quantities (or press Check GRN on the ASN). When the goods are in, the Odoo receipt is set to what the warehouse actually counted - batch numbers and expiries included - and, with Auto-validate Receipts on, validated automatically; with it off, the quantities are logged and an activity asks a person to validate.
